Open Day 2007 & 2008

Open Day 2007 was held on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March. A continuing severe drought with watering restrictions limiting watering to drip irrigation or hand held hoses meant that the gardens, although still spectacular, were suffering the effects of this reduced watering.

Nevertheless, over 1,200 people visited the gardens over the two days with money raised going to the Red Cross.

Open Day 2008 was on 18th and 19th October. The drought had continued but the grounds were magnificant at thje height of spring.
